Nestled in the heart of the Norman countryside, just 20 minutes from Caen, Domaine Le Mesnil is a venue of character, fully renovated between 2022 and 2024. This former 18th-century Norman cider farm combines the authenticity of stone and timber with modern facilities designed for the comfort of your guests.
Here, every wedding is unique. We privatise the entire domain exclusively for you, giving you complete freedom to choose your own suppliers. Our role is to be present, discreet and available so that your day unfolds exactly as you imagined it.

A rental from Friday 2pm to Monday 10am, so you can live your wedding weekend to the fullest, without any time pressure.
The domain is entirely privatised for you. Complete freedom to choose your own suppliers: caterer, DJ, photographer, florist… We are present on the day to welcome your suppliers and ensure everything runs smoothly, while remaining discreet.
The Weekend Formula
Friday to Monday
At Domaine Le Mesnil, we offer a complete weekend package designed so you can live your wedding to the fullest, without time pressure.
- 📅 Friday ~2pm — Arrival, supplier set-up, full privatisation of the domain
- 💍 Saturday — Your big day: ceremony, drinks reception, dinner, evening celebration
- ☀️ Sunday — Brunch, time together, relaxing in the park
- 🏡 Monday morning 10am — Handover of the venue
This format allows guests travelling from afar to enjoy the full weekend, and gives you the freedom to savour every moment without rushing.

Can the entire domain be privatised?
Yes, Domaine Le Mesnil is fully privatised for your event. No other group will be present at the same time.
Are we free to choose our own suppliers?
Absolutely. Caterer, DJ, photographer, florist, wedding planner… you choose all your suppliers freely. We can provide a list of trusted partner suppliers who know the venue well if you wish.
What is the capacity for a wedding?
The main hall accommodates up to 150 seated guests with a dance floor. The 140 m² covered terrace can host 150 additional guests for the drinks reception or outdoor ceremony.
Is there accommodation on site?
Yes: 35 beds are available on the domain (bedrooms and dormitories), plus up to 15 additional guests in the manor (optional add-on). Linen and towels included.
Can we hold an outdoor civil ceremony?
Yes. The landscaped park and the manor orchards (optional) offer beautiful settings for an outdoor ceremony. The covered terrace is the perfect alternative in case of bad weather.
How long is the rental for a wedding?
The standard formula runs from Friday around 2pm to Monday morning at 10am — a full weekend to enjoy every single moment.
